Continuing Education

Want to elevate your professional skills without enrolling in a full degree program? We can help.

Our Continuing Education courses offer you the opportunity to attend select classes designed for licensed professionals, including teachers and EMTs. With both in-person and online courses available year-round, it’s never been so convenient to achieve your continuing education credits.

We also offer customized trainings and certificates through our Workforce Development unit.

Earn Continuing Education Credits

There’s no need to wait to earn your continuing education credits. Complete any of the courses we offer or create your own training by sponsoring a continuing education or professional development event.

You can partner with us to sponsor a course or workshop for credit. As a state or federal agency, public entity (city, county, park, or school district), business, nonprofit organization, or individual, you may apply for approval of a course. Events or trainings that may qualify include workshops, symposiums, seminars, certificate offerings, professional learning groups (PLCs, book and topical study groups, collaborative teams), or conferences. Application may be made for graduate or undergraduate credit or continuing education units (CEUs). A learning event may be delivered face-to-face, online, or through a series offering.

Credit is offered for true educational experiences, not for participation in entertainment, meals, exhibits, social, or other non-instructional activity. Professional development offerings are accepted by some state agencies in the United States toward teacher certifications and other endorsements, this may not be the case in all states.
